Getting to Know Sanjeev Sah
IS THIS EVERYTHING IN LIFE?
Sanjeev kicked off his property journey in India in 2009, but by 2015 he was already an established investor in Australia with two local properties under his belt. Back when he had a corporate job in IT, he used to look outside his office window and wonder: “Is this everything in life?”
IS ACHIEVING FINANCIAL FREEDOM POSSIBLE?
He didn’t feel that he was fulfilling his potential and he couldn’t see how he would ever achieve financial freedom.
STARTING THE PROPERTY INVESTMENT JOURNEY
Something has changed for Sanjeev in 2009, when he and his wife, Illa, bought a residential property and then the commercial property in their homeland in India. That’s the time Sanjeev realised the potential of properties.
In 2014, Sanjeev and Illa bought an off-the-plan house in Sydney, which they moved into the following year.
In 2015, they bought an off-the-plan unit in Sydney as an investment property.
Getting to Know Sanjeev Sah
LEARNING THE HARDWAY
That was the time when he wanted to learn everything about properties. He bought books, attended seminars, and studied the market. Sanjeev set himself a goal to quit his job by 2020 so he could become a full-time property investor.
His goal was not to become a filthy rich property mogul. He just wanted to achieve financial independence, to be able to spend time with his wife and beautiful daughter, Amaya, who was born in 2015.
THE POWER OF GOAL SETTING
Between 2014 and 2019, Sanjeev bought five properties and gained experience with renovation, subdivision, and development.
That was the start of Sanjeev’s journey towards his financial independence.
IT WASN’T EASY
He worked very hard. He made many mistakes and experienced a lot of fears and uncertainties.
But he had a powerful goal—to be able to live life on his terms and spend more time with his family. So he forced himself to overcome all those obstacles.
QUITTING THE DAY JOB
He decided to become a buyer’s agent, so he could help others build wealth through property. He wanted to stop others from making the same mistakes he had made.
He noticed that a lot of people throw themselves into property investment without a proper strategy and without clear goals. Others bought low-quality properties and invested in the wrong areas.
SHARING KNOWLEDGE THROUGH EDUCATION
Sanjeev wants to educate people. He wants to talk about their goals and the wealth creation process, so they would understand the connection between property investment and their long-term future.
BUILDING PASSIVE INCOME
In just over a decade, Sanjeev Sah has built a solid passive income, one that has allowed him bid farewell to his fruitful job in IT and dedicate his time to helping others achieve their property investment dreams.
Let’s backtrack to 2009, the year it all began.
He got married in 2009, and in 2010 his wife joined Sanjeev in Australia. She got a job too so life was going well. He was already living a dream life in Australia. But in 2011, they decided to purchase another investment property in India.
At that time, Sanjeev had no intentions of purchasing a property in Australia. He admits to having been a little intimidated by Sydney’s hefty price tags. However, things shifted in 2013, following a visit from the parents.
His parents encouraged them to settle permanently in Australia, so he started thinking that he should start buying a property in Australia. He thought if he could see the success he saw in India, it would be amazing.
Sanjeev was not only ruled to the property by the promise of money. In fact, it was the arrival of his daughter that drove him to start thinking about the future of his family.
Hobbies…
Sanjeev loves to swim especially with his daughter Amaya and to ride a Jetski. He is also now practicing Yoga to improve strength, balance, and flexibility.
He is also into listening to audible books. As self-education is very important to him, he encourages everyone to read some of his favorite audible books such as the below:

Start with Why by Simon Sinek
80/20 Principle by Richard Koch
Chasing Excellence by Ben Bergeron
The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham

The Purpose in Life
Sanjeev‘s good heart led him in achieving his goals.
- To spend time with his wife and daughter.
- To give a good life to his family,
- To help his friends and other people achieve what he has achieved.
- He also helped his family back in India to pursue his nieces’ studies.
It is so fulfilling to him to know that he was able to help them graduate as Engineers.
He now understands his purpose in life. He knows that even before he has a good job in the IT industry, life has more to offer. It was not easy, there were a lot of hindrances along the way but he trusted the process. He worked hard. He studied hard. He was very clear with his goals in life. He came out from his comfort zone and thought outside the box to know and understand what life has to offer.
He wants to give inspiration to others that life is not easy but nothing is impossible.
Sanjeev is a simple person, a loving son, husband, and father. He is a family man who did all he can to gain financial freedom and share his blessings to others through education and other support he can give. He feels blessed and contented having a very supportive wife and parents and of course, a very smart and beautiful daughter.
Life for him is not about the money, but the blessings shared with others that may lift them up too and achieve what he has gained.
